Las Mejores Historias del Joker Jamás Contadas

Recien estrenada la primera película de Batman de Tim Burton, Zinco aprovechó el tirón mediático de la segunda época batmaníaca por excelencia para publicar una serie de tomos en formato de lujo. Entre ellos se encontraba la línea de Las Mejores Historias Jamás Contadas, que incluyeron dos entregas de Batman y una del Joker (Diciembre 1989).

En tapa dura con sobrecubierta, una edición muy cuidada en todos sus detalles, tanto en la sobrecubierta como el color de tapas, y la excelente selección de las historias interiores, recopilando un total de 19 historias protagonizadas por el Joker a lo largo de 40 años (desde su creación en 1940 hasta 1980, todas historias pre-crisis), pasando por las diferentes etapas del personaje en diferentes títulos, incluyendo las tiras diarias y su propia colección que disfrutó a mediados de los 70.

Si repasáis la lista os daréis cuenta de que algunos de estos comics no los volveremos a ver publicados en nuestro país a no ser que se reedite esta antología. Por contra en la nueva colección de Planeta dedicada a los villanos de Batman (Batman: Arkham) y que comienza con El Joker podremos ver la reciente Batman: The Man who Laughs, la novela gráfica The Joker: Devil's Advocate (también editada por Zinco) y tres de los comics recogidos en Las Mejores Historias del Joker Jamás Contadas: Batman # 1, Detective Comics # 168 y el Batman # 321.
